Easy Start

PowerVPS's Easy Start program has been developed for those who are new to virtual private servers. The move from shared or reseller hosting to a VPS platform can be a big change. We recognized this and have tailored our packages and services to ensure the transition is as easy as possible.

Please note that the Easy Start setup is NOT applied to either the Linux Webmin VPS or the Windows plans that do not include Plesk. The Webmin VPS is for experienced linux users who are willing and able to configure the system exactly to their specific needs. You need to be able to configure dns/mail/web/ftp and anything else you need yourself with a Webmin VPS. The same holds true for the Windows plans without a control panel, it is meant for the experienced IIS Administrator who can configures IIS, DNS, FTP, etc.

  Initial Setup

• We fully install all OS and web panel software.
• We ensure all RPM's on your server are up to date.
• We configure your web panel so it is ready to use.
• We add your domain
• We create the server side dns zone file including your name servers.

  Initial Support

In the first few days you have your new VPS we understand you will have lots of questions, our support team is ready to answer them, no matter how basic they are.

  Migration Support

Our support staff can help you develop a migration plan to minimize downtime while you move your accounts to our servers. We have a lot of experience in this so don't be afraid to ask.

  Ongoing Support

As you get more experienced with the server there are bound to be things you want to do, add software, upgrade packages, we can help and will always be ready to answer any questions you have.
